Now that Spring is finally here, it’s time to spruce up the front of the house. So this weekend Steve and I went in search of a few items. For the door…I wanted to dress it up a bit with a new welcoming wreath. I looked and looked for just the right one, and of course, the ones I wanted were all too expensive. Then I thought to myself, “I’m crafty. Why don’t I just make my own!” And in steps Hobby Lobby. That place is fantastic, especially when exactly what you need just happens to be on sale too. Love it! I picked up a good basic wreath made of woven branches, then added some gorgeous red flowers and finished things off with some greenery…and the total…a whopping $13! So much better than the $50 or $60 I would have had to pay for the ready-made ones. We also found the cutest wrought-iron bench at Costco of all places. We topped it off with red fluffy pillows that have, “Come, sit on me!” written all over them. All-in-all I’d say it was a pretty productive weekend, wouldn’t you…

Love your wreath and your pillows. Wish we had a Costco nearby, but I’m happy to say that Hobby Lobby will be opening just a few miles from my house this fall.:-) Can’t wait!
